Cornovus Capital arranges $5.65M loan to fund hotel brand conversion
When the owners of a 131-room, full-service hotel in Pennsylvania decided to convert from Clarion to the Trademark by Wyndham brand, they turned to Gerard “Jerry” Dehner, Managing Partner of Cornovus Capital, a Cincinnati-based commercial real estate and business finance advisory firm. Working through a private-debt fund, Cornovus helped the hoteliers arrange a $5.65 million refinance, reposition, and PIP loan to fund the conversion. The transaction was structured with an interest-only period, converting to an amortizing loan structure.
