Mario Grk serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Cornovus Capital, overseeing Mid-West and National Originations. His journey with the firm began as an intern during his studies at the University of Cincinnati’s Lindner College of Business, where he earned degrees in Finance and Real Estate. Following his graduation, Mario transitioned into a full-time business development role, quickly distinguishing himself through his leadership skills and strategic insight.

From a young age, Mario gained hands-on experience working in his family’s restaurant and construction businesses, advancing through various roles and gaining a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to own and operate a business. These formative experiences instilled in him a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellence, and an appreciation for the challenges small business owners face. It was this insider perspective that attracted Mario to business and commercial real estate advisory. He recognized the transformative role that tailored financial solutions could play for business owners and was inspired to help others navigate the complexities of ownership and growth.

As his career progressed at Cornovus Capital, Mario rose through the ranks, managing multiple Business Development Officers and contributing to the firm’s national growth initiatives. His leadership and innovative approach to business development culminated in his promotion to Vice President of Business Development. In this capacity, Mario has been instrumental in driving strategic initiatives, including the creation of an internal application and outreach program targeting real estate brokers across the United States. These efforts have streamlined communication, expanded the firm’s network, and enhanced its ability to deliver customized advisory services to clients nationwide.

Mario’s unique blend of firsthand business ownership experience and deep industry knowledge allows him to connect with clients on a personal level, understanding their needs and tailoring solutions that align with their goals.
