With a strong educational foundation and a passion for finance instilled during his university years, Mario quickly demonstrated his prowess in the intricacies of the financial world. Mario transitioned from intern to a key player at Cornovus Capital, his ability to understand the nuances of finance and real estate, coupled with his innate leadership skills, became evident.
Before his venture into the financial sector, Mario honed his leadership and management skills from a young age, growing up in a family deeply involved in the restaurant & contracting business. From an early start, he played an integral role in the day-to-day operations of his mother’s restaurant, learning the ropes of effective employee management, critical thinking, and customer service. He gained an additional foundation in construction and project management from his father, who operates his own general contracting practice. Bryant Kleinfeldt is a professional whose career has spanned law enforcement, public service, and property management. Raised on the east side of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bryant was raised with a strong foundation in education and community. Attending Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana, & the University of Cincinnati, Bryant earned dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice, specializing in Law Enforcement. He then embarked on a career with the City of St. Bernard, Ohio Police Department in 1993.
As a Police Officer, Bryant's passion for firearms & his keen eye for detail led him to become an active firearms recertification instructor & firearms armorer. His commitment to excellence in this area persists to this day, as he continues to work on firearms. Additionally, Bryant's skill in & love for SCUBA diving propelled him to join the Hamilton County Police Association's Underwater Search & Recovery team, where he quickly ascended to the role of Assistant Commander. His dedication and experience proved invaluable in conducting search & recovery missions in the waterways of southwestern Ohio.
Beyond his professional achievements, Bryant's commitment to honoring fallen officers and supporting their families was unwavering. He represented his department and community annually at National Police Memorial Week in Washington, DC, by providing motorcycle escorts for families of those killed in the line of duty & even played a direct role in aiding recovery efforts in Manhattan immediately following the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Bryant was forced into disability retirement in 2005, after a career-altering injury sustained in the line of duty. Embracing a new role as a stay-at-home father to his three sons, Bryant continued to demonstrate his unwavering dedication to family and community.
In 2023, Bryant embarked on a new chapter in his professional journey, joining Cornovus Capital alongside his longtime friend Gerard "Jerry" Dehner. At Cornovus, Bryant's diverse skill set has been instrumental in various capacities, including property management, construction/FF&E procurement for hospitality projects, marketing, and business development. Kathy is a seasoned professional with a diverse background spanning over three decades in the real estate and mortgage industries. Currently serving as Director of Operations, Kathy has been instrumental in overseeing sales teams and assisting owners with day-to-day operational matters related to real estate, mortgage lending, and capital raising.
Prior to her current role, Kathy enjoyed a successful career as a Licensed Real Estate Agent for over 10 years, specializing in assisting professional real estate investors locate properties and negotiate contracts. During this time, she developed expertise in working closely with organizations such as HUD and other banks to secure buyers for properties in foreclosure.
Before her real estate career, Kathy held various positions within the mortgage industry, including Owner/Broker and Branch Manager. In these roles, she established investor relations to place conventional, FHA, and VA loans, and was responsible for processing loan applications, post-closing activities, and underwriting FHA and conventional loans.
Kathy began her illustrious career in the mortgage industry as a Vice President/Operations Manager, where she played a pivotal role in the company's expansion. Her responsibilities included hiring and training staff, payroll, budgeting, and building and maintaining client, investor, and builder relations.
