Mario Grk serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Cornovus Capital, overseeing Mid-West and National Originations. His journey with the firm began as an intern during his studies at the University of Cincinnati’s Lindner College of Business, where he earned degrees in Finance and Real Estate. Following graduation, Mario transitioned into a full-time business development role, quickly distinguishing himself through his leadership skills and strategic insight.

From a young age, Mario gained hands-on experience working in his family’s restaurant and construction businesses. These early experiences instilled in him a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellence, and an appreciation for the challenges small business owners face. His deep operational understanding and firsthand perspective attracted Mario to the world of capital markets and commercial real estate advisory.

As his career progressed at Cornovus Capital, Mario played an instrumental role in expanding the firm’s national growth initiatives and building its internal production team. His leadership and ability to connect with business owners helped elevate the firm’s outreach and drive originations across diverse markets. Today, he leads the firm’s efforts in originating SBA 7(a), 504, and structured commercial real estate loans — with a focus on hospitality, industrial, and owner-user assets.
